Captain Travis strives to educate and demonstrate the different techniques used to target striped bass fishing in freshwater lakes. The captain enjoys all methods, and never over looks suggestions as well.
Captain Travis will use a variety of methods to target striped bass such as:

- Cut and dead bait drifting and still fishing
- Big motor artificial trolling

Captain Travis Patsell cares to preserve this wonderful fishery for our future. Captain Travis does strive that we all practice selective harvest on keeper stripers and catfish of 10 lbs and under, as well as the Catch and Release of all trophy fish. We do understand the value of showing off a trophy. Pictures will be taken, but quickly so we can release the trophy unharmed. Also citation applications will be filled out by the captain and mailed for you. So you can have the Virginia trophy fish award to display on the wall. I also can recommend taxidermist to those who wish to go with a life like, better than a skin mount, replica trophy on the wall!
