Cats N’ Stripers James River Fishing Charters
Cats N’ Stripers Fishing Charters is offering Charters on the James River, Va. Targeting Virginia Trophy Blue Catfish.
Most commonly called the Hopewell, Virginia area. We will be targeting the James River Tidal portion from downstream of Richmond, Va. flowing down to Jamestown, Va.

Captain Travis Patsell has been visiting and fishing the James River for years now and wants to bring you along for the excitement of the battle between you and a trophy Blue Catfish.
What To expect:
Captain Travis will plan certain times each month. Generally for a length of a week stay during the fall/winter/early-spring. Allowing you several times throughout the cool months to target the Blue catfish of the James River.
Fishing the James River during the cooler months is key to targeting Virginias James river Trophy Cats. We will target this fishery in a multitude of ways to ensure our best success.
Dress for the weather.- Please limit you drink/snacks to 1 small to med size cooler.
- You will need a Va. freshwater fishing license for each person 16 and older
- Each person 13 and younger will need their own life jacket.
- All Gear is provided.
- NO bananas, drugs or glass bottle
Trophy Fishery means conservation. This is mostly a Catch and Release fishery.
- To protect our states trophy blue catfish. Smaller fish 12lbs and less can be harvested.
- If you wish to harvest any smaller fish Please bring a cooler with ICE to haul your catch home.
- Fish Cleaning can not be provided at this time.

Location of departure will be decided by Captain Travis Patsell at time of booking.
Rates:
- 1-2 people $400
- 3 people $450
- 4 people $500
A $105 deposit will be required within 10 days of booking. Credit card or Paypal. Deposit refunds are only made at Captain Travis’s discretion.
